obama letter---final draft

Dear president Barack Obama,
I am thrilled to have you as the new president of the United States and im absolutely sure that you will do everything in your power to change this nation for the better. Change is what this nation needs. However, there are a few things that i would like you to take special care to work with. I believe that these requests are within your reach and that you can and will accomplish them even without me asking for your help.

I would like our troops out of Iraq. This conflict is only hurting us and them and it would be better if we did our best to leave and let them figure out their problems for themselves. I think that as a country we should negotiate with Iraq and make sure that it can stand on its own and not just drop it without having it a secure place for it to land. I do not understand why people could WANT war. This is a very important issue for me. I don't want any more unnecessary death. All killing is unnecessary.

i would also like for you to focus a lot of your attention on the countries like Darfur, the Congo, and Uganda. These are countries that really need our help. There are serious problems that they are facing there and there should be no more death there as well. The AIDS epidemic is also major issue in these countries and is a huge problem across the world. If the United States can find a cure for aids then the United States can do anything. Not only would finding the cure be a huge improvement to our world but it would bring up the respect of the United States.

My third suggestion for you to work on is Gay rights. I hope that you will change your view to a more pro-gay mind set in the future. At the moment I am not pleased that you are not for gay marriage. I understand that advertising a liking for gay marriage may not have let you win the election, however I hope that you will change your view. I mean, why wouldn’t you let two people who are in love get married? I personally do not see the difference between a man and a woman getting married and a man and a man getting married. It should not even be our business if the can get married or not.

I hope that you will take this country seriously. We DO need change but we need change for the better. I think that you can do this and I trust you. I trust you to help people even if they are not from this country. I trust you to help other nations but keep our nation safe at the same time and I trust you to look at all the people in the country and see them equally. I know that these suggestions are possible. All this country needs to do is try and we can succeed.

Sincerely
Lane Rylander

Obama letter---Draft 2

Dear president Barack Obama,

Change is what this nation needs. However, there are a few things that i would like you to take special care to work with. I believe that these requests are within your reach and that you can and will accomplish them even without me asking for your help.

Firstly, i would like our troops out of Iraq. This conflict is only hurting us and them and it would be better if we did our best to leave and let them figure out their problems for themselves. I think that as a country we should negotiate with Iraq and make sure that it can stand on its own and not just drop it without having it a secure place for it to land.Peace it more healthy and relaxing anyway. I do not understand why people could WANT war. This is a very important issue for me. I don't want any more unnecessary death. All killing is unnecessary.

Secondly i would like for you to focus a lot of your attention on the countries like Darfur, the Congo, and Uganda. These are countries that really need our help. obama letter

Dear president Barack Obama,
I am thrilled to have you as the new president of the United States. I am absolutely sure that you will do everything in your power to change this nation for the better. Change is what this nation needs. There are just a few things that i would like to make sure that you do your best to complete however. I believe that these requests are within your reach and that you can and will accomplish them even without me telling you my say. Firstly, i would like our troops out of Iraq. This conflict is only hurting us and them and it would be better if we did our best to leave and let them figure it out for themselves. I think that as a country we should negotiate with Iraq and make sure that it can stand on its own and not just drop it without having it a secure place for it to land. If the United States can find a cure for aids then the United States can do anything. Not only would finding the cure be a huge improvement to our world but it would bring up the respect of the United States. Thirdly, Gay rights. I hope that you will change your view to a more pro-gay mind set in the future. At the moment I am not pleased that you are not for gay marriage. I understand that advertizing a liking for gay marriage may not have let you win the election however I hope that you will change your view. I mean, why wouldn’t you let two people who are in love get married? I personally do not see the difference between a man and a woman getting married and a man and a man getting married. I hope that you will take this country and treat it well. We do need change but we need change for the better. I think that you can do this and I trust you. I trust you to help people even if they are not from this country. I trust you to help other nations but keep our nation safe at the same time and I trust you to look at all the people in the country and see them equally. I know that these suggestions are possible.
